Although total donations and pledges are now running ahead of our original target, and our forthcoming benefit concerts and celebrity auction are yet to make their full contribution, our signing up of new shareholders is still a long way behind target.

BGG shares cost £40 each, and are limited to one per person, making the BGG a one-person-one-vote democratic organisation. Shareholders vote to elect the directors and determine company policy at the Annual General Meeting each Autumn, can attend other occasional shareholder events, and get a special discount on early ticket purchases. Once you have paid for your share, you have no further liability – being a shareholder does NOT make you responsible for the company’s debts.
