Croissant Neuf at the Big Green Gathering

Once again the crew at the Croissant Neuf are proud to be invited back to the Big Green Gathering as their main venue. Over the last 15 years we have built up the Solar Powered music and sound rig from 2 tiny 12 volt car amplifiers to a professional sound system that is the biggest and the best in world so far (and if you don’t believe us - surf the net!).

Our lighting is also breaking new ground, a full stage system that only uses 250 watts (that’s the same amount of power as your average food processor). The LED lighting rig is capable of full colour washes, chases and ripples through to house white light on less power than your T.V - no wonder we’re are forever showing sound engineers and lighting technicians around our 10 tonne mobile Solar Generator truck

But - we don’t mind, we love showing folks what we do , that’s what we’re there for, to stimulate, demonstrate and educate everyone to the possibilities of a sustainable future - and, although it’s not considered at all British to blow ones own trumpet we don’t care - we’re proud of what we have achieved and we’re proud of the Big Green Gathering without whose support and patronage the Croissant Neuf would not be what it is today!

2009 sees Croissant Neuf hosting our own festival for the third time. The Croissant Neuf Summer Party is a brilliant, intimate, solar powered, family festival in South Wales that has grown up out of a love of festivals, of which the Big Green Gathering has been a huge influence!  (www.partyneuf.co.uk for more info)
